- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods, bank transfer, PayPal and cheque.
We're aiming to accept card payments in Q2 2012.
- How many IP's come with my server?
Our entry level dedicated servers come standard with 1 IPv4 address, our mid range level dedicated servers come standard with 2 IPv4 addresses and our high performance / business critical range of dedicated servers come standard with 5 IPv4 addresses. We're able to provide more IP addresses subject to justification to request more please contact your account manager.
- How long does it take from ordering a dedicated server to setup?
From placing an order with us to Dream Servers receiving payment or confirmation of payment sent, we will aim to setup your server within 48 hours. 90% of our dedicated server orders are setup within 24 hours.
- Can my server's hardware be upgraded at any time?
Yes, Dream Servers can provide upgrades on processors, memory, hard drives / SSD drives, network cards and RAID controllers. To request an upgrade please contact your account manager or via your control panel.
- How long have you been trading for?
Dream Servers has been incorporated since 2009, however we've been providing hosting services since 2006.
- Do you offer remote hands?
Yes we offer remote hands, remote hands are charged at £75 per hour this would be for installing new hardware, setting up servers, switches, routers, firewalls and upgrading your equipment. All requests for hardware reboots, media change and basic commands are free.
- Can I monitor my bandwidth usage?
Yes, we will provide you full bandwidth graphs and monitoring via your control panel.
- Can I access my equipment?
We allow access to quarter, half and full rack customers only. If you're colocating under a quarter rack then you will have to be escorted by a member of staff or one of our members of staff will carry out the work, charges may apply for this.
- Can I ship my equipment to you?
Yes you can ship your equipment to us, please request a shipment form from your account manager.
